Malaysia MDAC information
The Malaysia eVisa is an official electronic travel authorization that allows eligible foreign nationals to stay in Malaysia for up to 30 days. Introduced by the Malaysian government in 2016, the eVisa system was created to simplify and expedite the visa application process by allowing travelers to apply entirely online—without needing to visit an embassy or consulate.
Depending on the traveler’s needs, the Malaysia eVisa can be issued as either a single-entry visa, valid for 90 days from the date of issue, or a multiple-entry visa, valid for 3 to 6 months. Both types are intended for short-term visits related to tourism or business.
The application process is quick and user-friendly. Travelers only need a valid passport and access to a device with an internet connection. The online form can be completed in just a few minutes from home or any convenient location. Meanwhile, our team of visa specialists takes care of the entire process—so travelers can focus on planning their journey with peace of mind.
It’s important to note that, in addition to the eVisa, most travelers must also complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before entering the country. The MDAC is a separate requirement and does not replace a visa. Travelers from countries that require a visa must ensure they apply for both the eVisa and the MDAC to meet Malaysia’s entry regulations.
