Validity of the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is valid for a single entry into Malaysia and must be submitted within 3 days (72 hours) prior to your arrival in the country.

This means you should complete and submit the MDAC no earlier than 3 days before your scheduled arrival date. Submitting the form too early will result in it being invalid, and you may be asked to submit it again closer to your travel date.

However, this can be avoided by using our service. At malaysiadigitalcard.com, you can submit your application even weeks or a month in advance. Our team will prepare and schedule your MDAC submission exactly 3 days before your arrival, in accordance with official requirements.

Once completed, your MDAC will be sent directly to the email address you provided, ensuring you receive it on time and fully compliant with immigration regulations.

Once submitted, the MDAC is linked to your passport and is valid only for the specific trip for which it was completed. If your travel plans change (e.g. flight delay or reschedule), you may need to submit a new MDAC form accordingly.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • The MDAC is not a visa and does not guarantee entry
  • It is valid only for the traveler and date specified
  • A new MDAC is required for each new entry into Malaysia

To ensure a smooth arrival, we recommend submitting the MDAC 1–2 days before your flight.
